BELLEVUE, Wash. — If you're looking for a unique immersive experience, you'll find it at Mirra at Lincoln Square in Bellevue.
The super-hip place describes itself as a "social entertainment venue." There's interactive tech everywhere including 8k screens throughout that show different environments. But the centerpiece of Mirra is their giant floor-to-ceiling LED screen you can play Virtual Reality games. We asked their Mirra's COO Jody Ramsammy to explain how the super-sized setup works.
"Our 50 by 20 foot high definition 8k screen, it's what really makes Mirra immersive. Mirra is meant to be the world’s very first social immersive entertainment venue,” said Ramsammy. “As a participant, you get completely immersive into this virtual reality environment and you are assuming a charter participating either on a team or you're competing against complete strangers. There's 5 iterations of the games. Participants can compete across each variation of the game. The most popular ones are Hockey Smash and Treasure Dash. Treasure Dash is modeled after Red Light Green Light which is really popular from Squid Game."

The games may be virtual, but their menu's huge variety of food choices are very real. They have items like Buttermilk Fried Chicken sliders and Pork Belly Bao Buns. They have several flatbread pizzas as well. A real crowd-pleaser is their Hockey Smash platter with garlic-roasted prawns, Mediterranean lamb skewers, pot stickers, and fire-grilled corn. Mirra also has a full bar with beer, wine, and craft cocktails.
Mirra is open 7 days a week for gatherings, corporate events or private parties.
