Mirra, a Bellevue-headquartered company described as a “leading provider of upscale, tech-immersed social entertainment experiences,” announced today that it’s opening its first U.S. location in the Bellevue Collection in August.

The 10,708-square-foot location, which will open on the third floor of Lincoln Square across from the Cinemark Reserve and can accommodate up to 482 people, will feature virtual reality and 8K LED screen walls for customers to participate in its immersive gaming offerings. It also will have food and drinks available.

“Our venue takes the party game concept to new heights,” said Mirra founder Sam Wang in a release. "We're merging VR technology with a vibrant social scene to create unforgettable events. It's not just about playing the game; it's about the shared energy and excitement‚ a captivating experience for players and observers alike."

Mirra’s “party games” are designed for both adults and children. Up to eight participants can play at a time, with up to 32 players able to participate in a full competition. The release noted that Mirra’s launch comes in tandem with the debut of six new games geared for a range of skill levels.

“The Bellevue Collection sees this launch as an unprecedented opportunity to host the world’s first social gameplay arena right here in Bellevue,” said Jennifer Leavitt, vice president of marketing for Bellevue Collection owner Kemper Development Company, in the release. “Mirra has designed a game-changing and genre-defying social entertainment experience that aligns perfectly with the Collection’s aim to bring the best in dining, shopping, and entertainment to the region.”
